Whether it is for a birthday, a romantic marriage proposal or
an ice-breaking business evening, there is something special
about dining in the open sea.
On the magnificent Rising Tide, slip out of the mundane into a quiet anchorage and dine under the stars.
Gather your friends for an evening outing boarding around 6 PM just before sunset. Settle in with a drink, then relax on deck while the yacht glides gently over the waters as the sun drops out of the sky.
As the ship approaches a secluded spot, the captain drops anchor. Dinner is served on deck in an informal setting. You have a choice of Asian (our specialty is Straits-born 'nonya' cuisine) or Western food.
If it is a birthday event, we can arrange for a cake or chilled champagne. We have had the pleasure of arranging a romantic evening for two. He proposed; she accepted.
For a business dinner, there is nothing more conducive than after-dinner brandy and cigar while the world slips away.
And for those who really want to dance the night away, or just rock gently into sleep, we have a special option.
A limit of six guests can stay overnight in our air-conditioned cabins for a small charge. Breakfast will be served by the crew.
Rising Tide also offers a special mangrove dinner party. Guests sail up a mangrove river in southern Johor. After dinner, board a dinghy and ride up a creek to look for the wondrous fireflies. Overnight arrangement onboard the yacht for three couples is available. Other guests can take up accommodation at Sebana Cove Resort where the cruise ends.
